Sophea took great care of me and my family! Although he was booked out already he organized another very competent guide (Choup) who accompanied us for two days through the amazing places around Angkor Wat! Thank you again Choup! Sophea really wanted us to have a good experience in his home country so that he contacted us in the evenings to ask how everything went during the day. Next time we are in Cambodia we are definitely going to spend some more days with Sophea discovering the many other miracles of Cambodia. We are really looking forward to that! Cheers, Nima Evan H2020-03-08vérifié Incredible Tour Sophea gave us an amazing bicycle tour of Angkor Wat. He picked my fiancé and I up at our hotel, helped me bargain for a good pair of pants, got us situated on our bikes, showed us some awesome temples and ruins, introduced us to some locals for a hearty lunch, and rounded everything off with a thorough tour of the main temple before dropping us off full of wonder and amazement. The next day my fiancé stayed at the spa and Sophea let me take his Jeep off-roading to an incredible secluded temple. He is very familiar with the area’s history and communicates it well with his perfect English. After that he took me out on some 4x4s through the country for yet another adventure. Sophea is punctual, well organized and so easy to get a long with - I highly recommend!!! Alexandra J2019-09-09vérifié Unforgettable It’s not about what you see but about the magic of experience. Sophea projected us back in the history and culture... see the light, hear the sound, smell, feel the soul of the Khmer Empire while unlocking the mystery of a rich culture with a friend instead of a touristic tour guide. Pay attention cause still water run deep, you will laugh your ass! thibault2019-09-09vérifié Sophea will make you remember your trip for a long time Our guide Sophea was wonderful during this trip. Very knowledgeable of the Khmer empire, he shared with us so many details of its culture. Sophea was also extremely caring in the organization of our trip and full of fun and life. Jo K.2019-08-27vérifié An excellent guide! We had a half day tour of The Bayon, Ta Prohm and Angkor Wat with Sophea in mid August. We started early in the morning when it wasn’t too crowded nor too hot. By the time we got to Angkor Wat, I guess most tourists had gone and it was so peaceful, and perfect for pictures. Sophea was a fun guide. He quizzed us to guess what a color represented, what a sculpture might be, and how long a restoration took. And he gave only 0.05 points for a right answer! His knowledge of current affairs and pop culture made him a fun person to chat with. I knew Maddox Jolie-Pitt was going to university in South Korea. Sophea knew it too! Sophea pointed out where we could take photos. He took optical illusion pictures of us doing a nose-to-nose with a god and took a “framed” picture of us at a window. Sophea was quick to come to the rescue when a monkey climbed onto my daughter. He had prepared bottles of water for us and had a big umbrella to shield my 80+ year old parents (it was about 34 degrees and quite humid then.) He called for a tuk tuk when my aunt started limping. He was very kind and considerate. If you can get Sophea as your guide, consider yourself blessed! I highly recommend him! Thanks for a good time, Sophea! Jonathan K2019-08-20vérifié Half Day Angkor Wat with Sophea We visited the temples of Bayon, Ta Prohm and Angkor Wat in mid-August 2019 with Sophea as our personal guide. Sophea is very knowledgeable and shared the history and legends of the temples with us while we explored the temple grounds. He is also very friendly, patient and considerate as we had a few elderly folks with us. We had a really enjoyable time at Angkor Wat with Sophea as our guide. BrunoFliss2018-12-30vérifié Visit the hidden temples of angkor at your own pace with Sophea! Hello, we were a familly of 4 including 2 children (7 and 4) and we ask Sophea to be our guide for 2 days visit of Angkor temples. We requested him to avoid as much as possible tourists during this high season period...and our dream comes true. Sometimes, we just turn right 100m before the touristic buzzy place to enjoy quietfull temple and sometimes we just went during lunch time at Angkor wat to avoid crowds...You can follow Sophea eyes closed... but with your hears wide open since Sophea has a lot to say about angkor history and today Cambodia way of life.Additonaly, he can speak French and he is very funny guy. My daughter was always asking him "why you are always telling jokes?"...Anyway, we are so happy with the service that we ask for a third day visit in few days... Cannot wait ;-)Thank you Sophea!!!
